Mankind has been weaving carpets by hand using this method for thousands of years. Interesting fact: the world's oldest surviving pile rug (known as the \"Pazyryk\") dates from around the 4th\/5th Century B.C.!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eIt's made from natural fibres\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis hand-knotted Kazak rug is not only eye-catching but it is also made from natural fibres.
