Attractive blues, lilacs and terracotta tones can be found throughout. It is woven with handspun wool and it's design vocabulary is taken from famous Oushak antique carpets woven for centuries in Western Anatolia!

What are the Characteristic features of Oushak (Ushak) carpets?

Even in this runner there is still apparent woven motifs and attributes that are evocative of antique Oushak carpets; in the field the overblown palmettes and florals spaciously set in the field, the relatively coarse weave, as well as purposefully low cut pile and soft colours!

Do I need to use an Underlay with this Runner?

If you are planning to place this runner in an area of high footfall or on a wooden, stone or tiled floor we would recommend an underlay to hold in position.
