We take rugs to our restorer every 2 weeks for cleaning and repairs, so almost all repairs are returned quite quickly.
He can undertake all types of Rug Repairs these include:
- reweaves
- re-piling
- re-fringing (re-weaving fringes or fray back & secure)
- repairing sides (re-selvedging)
- stain removal
- stretching (to make flat or straight)
- reducing (i.e. shortening)
- restoration of moth damage. (If you do have a problem with moth please also check out our range of Moth Killer products available online and in-store here)
- restoration of flood damaged rugs
- removal of colour-run
- attaching of sleeves for hanging
Major Rug Restoration projects can even be sent abroad for cost-effective Rug Repairs.
As with the cleaning Rugs/Carpets for repairs should be brought into our Tunbridge Wells showroom for assessment.
